About Me

I’m Charly, as a counsellor I offer a warm, open and non judgemental space to explore what’s going on for you.  You can talk about what you need to, whether that be anxiety, stress, depression, loss, self worth, gender, sexuality, compassion fatigue, burnout or the many things life throws at us. I understand that these intertwine, overlap and change over time with the ebb and flow of your life. I meet you where you are and hope to build a relationship where you feel comfortable, supported and able to speak freely.

I am a Pluralistic therapist which means I am Person Centred and I can pull from different theoretical approaches, working flexibly to support you best. I’m a member of the NCPS and I adhere to their Ethical Framework to keep our work confidential and safe. I have also worked in the charity sector around mental health, neurodiversity and with LGBTQ+ youth and adults. This has given me insight, experience and empathy, particularly around what it can mean to take care of yourself as a person supporting others.

I offer a free introductory 15 minute session online (Zoom) or over the phone, this will help us get to know each other and if the relationship will be a good fit. Sessions are then £45 for online sessions and £55 for face to face sessions are 50 minutes long. I offer reduced price sessions for people who are unwaged or low income, let me know in the initial email if this applies to you.
